Who I am and how I can help…
I am Melissa Kingston and can help because I’m a lot like you. I know how frustrating it can be to feel like you are doing everything you can but still not making any progress. That was my situation 10 years ago, I SHOULD have been living my best life. I was a 30 year old trainer who supposedly got to work out for a living.
But I was experiencing stomach pain, fatigue, and all around apathy. I woke up one morning and discovered – to my horror – that I had gained 10 pounds over the previous month. Doctor visits and medical tests followed. First the ultrasound, then the colonoscopy, then IBS pills, then some gynecological procedures. Everything was inconclusive. No one had any answers. Then something occurred to me. No doctor had asked what should have been an obvious question to someone whose stomach hurt:“What are you eating?” I started reading everything I could and tried a bunch of different diets, including the Zone Diet and “eating for your blood type”. Nothing worked for long. Then I finally got smart and did the right thing. I hired a coach who asked the right questions and actually listened to me. We eliminated gluten and the result was amazing. The stomach pain disappeared. I lost 10 pounds and kept them off. Best of all I was back to my old self: happy, driven, and energetic.
